I live in Canada and I have a cottage up in bear, wolf, fox, bobcat, and lynx country in Ontario. All these animals are common in the forest and I feel like they could be watching me when I go for a hike through the forest. I have smelled them, seen footprints and prey killed by these animals. But I have never encountered one because they avoid humans.
It is for these reasons that I believe the thylacine does exist and I hope that they continue to multiply and defy extinction! Good luck
