French national resident in the UK. Although initially a University graduate in vegetal biology, I moved on to become an analytical chemistry specialised in nuclear magnetic resonance applications.
Since a recent visit to Perth zoo, I have become interested in the zoology of marsupials such as Mumbats and Tasmanian Devils (of course, my favourite), and now I am intrigued by the roles past or present of the Thylacine in Tasmanian wildlife. How did Thylacines compare in the hunting behaviour with unrelated predators such as wolves, foxes, wild dogs and what has been the impact of their disappearance. I am interested in understanding also how Thylacines and Tasmanian devils used to interact in their everyday life.
I have watched with great interests the videos posted by Bill flowers and Chris Coupland on Youtube. Fascinating material. Thanks a lot, guys!
